Steps to Leadership Program
The AB212 and CARES programs have provided educational incentives to Lake County providers for nearly a decade now. These programs have helped hundreds of early childhood educators continue their education and achieve their goals. Steps to Leadership is an incentive program for Lake County early childhood educators, designed to encourage degree attainment, quality improvement and longevity in the field
The 2011-2012 Steps to Leadership program is full of exciting changes and fresh resources! Most significantly, thanks to a new grant through First 5 California and First 5 Lake, combined with our AB212 funding through the California Department of Education, our funding is more secure and increased. We will be able to offer more secure and increased stipend amounts.
